"Yui" is the 21st major single (23rd overall) released by miwa. The single was released in three versions: two limited CD+DVD editions (A & B) and a regular CD only edition. The title track was used as the theme song for the 83rd NHK National School Music Competition as well as for the NHK program Minna no Uta. The coupling track "On My Way" was used as the theme song for the NHK program On My Way!.
